General Scholarship Scheme - ICCR

The GSS is one of the important scholarship schemes of ICCR for Foreign Students which is awarded at the level of undergraduate/postgraduate levels and for pursuing research to foreign students belonging to Asian and Latin American Countries.

CEP/EEP Scholarship Scheme - ICCR

Under the Cultural Exchange Programme/Educational Exchange Programme signed between India and other foreign countries, the ICCR offers slots as indicated in the CEP/EEPs slots for pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. The slots are offered only to those countries where we have valid CEP/EEPs. Terms and conditions are governed by the terms and conditions of the CEP/EEP's


SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME FOR DIASPORA CHILDREN [SPDC]

Government of India launched a scheme called “Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children” (SPDC), in the academic year 2006-2007, for the children of Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to assist them in pursuing Under Graduate courses in Indian Universities/Institutes.

Under SPDC scheme financial assistance for specific undergraduate courses in Professional and Non-Professional courses (except Medical and related courses) is provided towards tuition fee, admission fee and post admission services. Only fresh year students (Ist year) students should be eligible to get the scholarship. For age 17 to 21 years.http://spdcindia.gov.in

The scheme was extended to children of PIOs/OCIs & NRIs from all countries in 2022-23.

2 Under the SPDC, financial assistance for Undergraduation in India for specific Professional and Non-Professional courses (except Medical and related courses) as provisioned, is provided towards tuition fee, admission fee and post admission charges. The application for SPDC scholarship can only be submitted by students of the first year of the Undergraduate courses. SPDC scholarship is granted for the entire duration of Undergraduate courses, and continuation of scholarship in second year and subsequent years will be based on their academic results in the previous year.

Know India Programme

Know India Programme of the Ministry of External Affairs is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora youth conducted with a view to promote awareness on different facets of life in India and the progress made by the country in various fields e.g. economic, industrial, education, science & technology, communication & information Technology, culture. KIP provide a unique forum for students & young professionals of Indian origin to visit India, share their views, expectations & experiences and to develop closer bonds with the contemporary India. http://kip.gov.in


Kendriya Hindi Sansthan

The Government of India under the aegis of the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra, is offering one scholarship under the scheme of “Propagation of Hindi Abroad at Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra”.  

The scholarship includes enrollment and course fee, besides a fixed amount of living expenses. The scholarship is granted for the full duration of the course.

ITEC 2021-22

Under the Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation Programme (ITEC) of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, for 2021-22 courses are being offered in the fields of Accounts, Agriculture, Banking, Information Technology, Environment, Education, Government Functioning, Health & Yoga, Management, Solar and Renewable Energy, Rural Development, among others.   1. The entire cost of training under the ITEC scheme, i.e., the return international airfare, tuition fees, accommodation, emergency medical treatment, stipend, book allowances and study tours, is borne by the Government of India.
