2. Death certificate issued by the health department clearly mentioning the cause of Death

6. Non epidemic certificate
7. Closing of coffin certificate
8. Request letter/Authorization from the family member
9. Letter from Air cargo office for receiving Mortal remains
10. Air tickets
11. Company letter of no-dues & no pending liabilities certificate(if any)

FEE: US $ 22.00

Bank charges - US$5.00 with all the services if the fee is paid through bank draft/banker’s cheque in favour of Embassy of India, Paramaribo.

e-Clearance for Afterlife Remains (eCARe) portal https://ecare.mohfw.gov.in/

Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India has developed the e-Clearance for Afterlife Remains (eCARe) portal (https://ecare.mohfw.gov.in) to streamline and expedite the process of Public Health Clearance for transporting human remains to India from different countries.

2. By integrating all stakeholders on a single interface, including the consignee, Airport Health Organisation, and the airlines, the portal will facilitate smooth and timely clearance of documents with automatic periodic alerts and live status tracking.

3. All stakeholders including individuals, companies/Associations engaged in sending human remains to India and Airlines are requested to familiarize themselves with the online portal and process applications through the same.
